In times of turmoil, the universe seems to conspire against us, testing our resilience and pushing us to the limits of our emotional and physical capacities.
In one of my recent conversations with a close friend, the realization struck that the wisdom shared during our exchange might resonate with you as well. Even if your current horizon is clear, these insights could prove useful at a later moment.
When the World Crumbles Apart
Life has a way of throwing curve-balls, and at times, it feels like we are juggling an array of challenges simultaneously, desperately trying to regain control. Whether it's work-related stress, financial hardships, concerns about a loved one's health, or a whirlwind of life aspects demanding attention, we've all found ourselves in the midst of those moments when everything that can go wrong seizes the opportunity.
Now, imagine compounding these difficulties with weeks of sleep deprivation. The weight of such a scenario can be overwhelming, making bouncing back seem like an insurmountable task.
I recently spoke with a dear friend who is navigating through such a dark period. Her 6-month-old baby is teething, waking up every 30 minutes during the night. Throughout the day, she juggles the responsibilities of caring for her other two boys (3 and 5 years old) and managing her household. It's heart-wrenching to witness such a strong and beautiful woman on the verge of collapse due to exhaustion, with emotions intensifying and seemingly no escape route.
Tapping into Your Feminine Strength
In these challenging moments, when it feels like there's no way out and drowning is inevitable, there's a powerful tool at your disposal: your feminine strength. But what does that mean?
Consider a scenario where you find yourself working overtime for two weeks, racing against an important deadline. Simultaneously, your mother needs assistance with health examinations, and you're in a heated disagreement with your partner about your child's school. Daily conversations escalate due to heightened emotions, and you feel lonely and misunderstood.
In such instances, the key is to resist the temptation to stay rigid, attempting to maintain control over every aspect of your life while continuing with your usual routine. Instead, embrace a healthier feminine approach:
Take Moments for Yourself Despite the seeming impossibility, allocate even just 10 minutes a day for personal recharge. Whether it's a walk in the park, dancing to music, practicing a yoni egg exercise, counting your blessings, or saying your prayers—prioritize your well-being. When everyone and everything demands your attention, it's crucial to ensure you're well and operating with clarity and confidence.
Adapt Rather than persisting with your normal routine, adjust your schedule and activities. Cut down on non-essential tasks, recognizing that certain things, like helping your kids with their homework or household chores, can be temporarily minimized without catastrophic consequences.
Trust and Surrender This isn't about doing nothing; it's about taking the best actions in the situation while accepting the reality as it is. Trust that you are where you need to be, that things are happening FOR YOU and not to you. Recognize that this is just a period, and it will pass. It ALWAYS does. Surrender control, allowing life to unfold while you do your best in every given moment.
Your feminine strength lies in your ability to adapt, trust that things will be fine again, and stay connected to the love and wisdom in your heart.
